64HZ – Presskit Shooting

64HZ is multidisciplinary collective of artists, DJs and visualists that have been bringing cutting edge experiences to the dance floor for over a decade. Founded in 2007 and based in Montreal, the collective continues to contribute actively to the electronic dance scene as it pursues its ongoing quest for the ultimate funky beat.

Mandate: In conjunction with planning their «64HZ.10YRS Summer Splash Tour», the collective needed a new press kit. The latest addition to 64HZ being the creation of a visuals division and three new VJs, it seemed natural to have them participate in the direction of photography. Every DJ was asked to pick a visual artist to capture the essence of their individual style. This process allowed us to present a series of images that were personalized yet consistent as a whole. It was also a great way to showcase the talent of these newcomer artists on the team.
